Remodeling Built for Rio Verde Homes
Michael Fischer handles residential remodeling and construction in Rio Verde — kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, door wall systems, and backyards. Rio Verde sits far enough out that a lot of contractors treat it as a drive they'd rather not make. We don't. It's part of the same service area as Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Carefree, and Phoenix, and it gets the same scheduling and the same site visits as anything closer in.
Michael Fischer is licensed, bonded, and insured, holds Arizona ROC General Dual License #327028, and carries an A+ BBB rating. Quotes are free. The work is residential only, which means the whole operation is built around people living in the house while the work happens — dust control, staged phases, and a schedule you can actually plan around.
The Six Things We Build
We keep the list short on purpose. These six are what we do, and we do all of them in-house.
- Kitchen Remodeling — custom kitchens designed and built from the ground up, covering cabinetry, countertops, and layout changes.
- Bathroom Remodeling — walk-in shower conversions, vanity upgrades, and full spa-inspired redesigns of dated bathrooms.
- Living Room Renovation — layout updates, new flooring, custom built-ins, and fireplace surrounds.
- Sliding & Accordion Door Wall Systems — custom folding door systems, sliding glass walls, and accordion door wall openings.
- Backyard, Patio & Pool Design — custom pool installations, outdoor kitchens, hardscaping, pergolas, and full backyard transformations.
- Architectural Design & Project Management — in-house AutoCAD drafting, 3D renderings, floor plan development, and project management start to finish.
The door wall systems and the backyard work tend to go together out here. Rio Verde lots give you room and views most Scottsdale properties don't, and opening a 16-foot wall of glass onto a patio you actually use changes how the whole house feels. If you're already thinking about the backyard, it's worth pricing the door wall at the same time — one set of drawings, one crew, one permit run.
How a Rio Verde Project Runs
Nothing here is a mystery. This is the order things happen in.
- We walk the property and measure. On a Rio Verde job that visit also covers access, septic and well locations where relevant, and how material deliveries will reach the site.
- We draft the plans in AutoCAD in-house. No waiting on an outside designer, no telephone game between the drafter and the crew.
- You see the 3D renderings before anything is ordered. This is where layout arguments get settled — on screen, not after the cabinets arrive.
- We pull the permits and schedule the trades. Rio Verde falls under Maricopa County review rather than a city building department, and we handle that submittal.
- We build, with a single point of contact. Michael manages the project; you're not chasing subcontractors.
- Final walkthrough and punch list, then we're done and out.
Most of the delay on remodels isn't construction — it's indecision and revisions after demo has already started. The renderings step exists to get all of that out of the way up front, while changes are still free.
