Michael Fischer is a Scottsdale residential remodeling and construction company, and flooring shows up in almost every job we take on. When we renovate a living room, the floor goes down alongside the new layout, the custom built-ins and the fireplace surround. When we rebuild a kitchen, the floor has to work with the new cabinet runs and the appliance footprints. So we don't sell flooring as a standalone product you pick off a sample board — we install it as one piece of a remodel we're already drafting, permitting and managing.

That matters more than it sounds. A floor installed before the plumbing is roughed in gets cut open again. A floor installed without thinking about the threshold at a sliding glass wall collects water the first time a monsoon storm blows through. Because we're handling the whole project, the flooring goes in at the right point in the sequence, at the right height, and the transitions between rooms land where they were drawn.

Michael Fischer holds Arizona ROC General Dual License #327028, carries an and is licensed, bonded, and insured. We work on residential properties only, and quotes are free.

Rooms and Projects Where the New Floor Goes

Flooring work comes through the door attached to one of the six things we build. Here's where it usually fits:

  • Living Room Renovation — new flooring is often the spine of the whole refresh, tied into layout updates, custom built-ins and fireplace surrounds.
  • Kitchen Remodeling — we design and build custom kitchens from the ground up, so the floor is set around the final cabinetry and countertop layout rather than squeezed in afterward.
  • Bathroom Remodeling — walk-in shower conversions, vanity upgrades and full spa-inspired redesigns all change what the floor has to handle underfoot and at the drain.
  • Sliding & Accordion Door Wall Systems — when a folding door system or sliding glass wall opens a room to the yard, the interior floor and the exterior surface have to meet cleanly at the track.
  • Backyard, Patio & Pool Design — hardscaping, pergolas, outdoor kitchens and pool decks are the outdoor half of the same conversation.
  • Architectural Design & Project Management — in-house AutoCAD drafting, 3D renderings, floor plan development and permitting, so the flooring layout exists on paper before anyone orders material.

What Happens Between the First Call and the Last Board

  1. We walk the property and measure every room in the scope, including the subfloor condition and the existing transitions.
  2. You see the 3D renderings and tell us what you want changed before anything is ordered.
  3. We pull the permits the job needs and schedule the trades in order, so the floor goes in after rough-in and before trim.
  4. We install, set the transitions and walk the finished rooms with you.

If the project is one room, that whole sequence is short. If it's a kitchen, a bath and the living room between them, project management is the part that keeps the flooring from being installed twice.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Will you install flooring on its own, without a remodel?

Flooring is something we handle inside the remodeling projects we build — kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms, and the door wall and patio work that connects them. If flooring is the only thing on your list, call and describe the space. We'll tell you honestly whether it's a fit for us.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Michael Fischer is licensed, bonded, and insured, holds Arizona ROC General Dual License #327028, and carries an A+ BBB rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Do you work on commercial buildings?

No. We work on residential properties only.

How much does the quote cost?

Nothing. Quotes are free. We walk the property, measure, and put the numbers in writing before you commit to anything.

Can I see the floor layout before you order material?

Yes. We draft in AutoCAD in-house and produce 3D renderings, so you can see the room, the flooring runs and the transitions before anything gets ordered or cut.

Which areas do you cover?

Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Rio Verde, Carefree and Phoenix.
