Residential Remodeling Across Phoenix
Michael Fischer remodels houses in Phoenix — one project at a time, with the drawings, the permits and the build all handled under one roof. We work residential only, which means every job is somebody's kitchen, somebody's shower, somebody's back patio. Phoenix homes come in waves: the 1950s ranch blocks, the 1980s stucco tracts, the newer north Phoenix builds with big open plans. Each one asks for something different, so nothing here is packaged or templated.
Alongside Phoenix we serve Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, Rio Verde and Carefree. Free quotes, always — we'll come out, look at the space, and tell you what it would take.
Michael Fischer is licensed, bonded, and insuredholds Arizona ROC General Dual License #327028and carries an . The dual license matters more than it sounds: it means we can pull both the residential and commercial sides of a general contracting job without subbing the paperwork out to someone else.
The Six Things We Build
We do six things, and we do them properly rather than listing twenty.
- Kitchen Remodeling — we design and build custom kitchens from the ground up, handling cabinetry, countertops and layout changes.
- Bathroom Remodeling — walk-in shower conversions, vanity upgrades, and full spa-inspired redesigns of outdated bathrooms.
- Living Room Renovation — layout updates, new flooring, custom built-ins and fireplace surrounds for the room you actually sit in.
- Sliding & Accordion Door Wall Systems — custom folding door systems, sliding glass walls and accordion door wall openings. In Phoenix, this is how a living room becomes twice the room eight months a year.
- Backyard, Patio & Pool Design — custom pool installations, outdoor kitchens, hardscaping, pergolas and full backyard transformations.
- Architectural Design & Project Management — in-house AutoCAD drafting, 3D renderings, floor plan development and permitting.
That last one is why the other five go smoothly. Because the drafting happens in-house, the drawings that go to the City of Phoenix for permit are the same drawings the crew builds from. Nothing gets lost in translation between a designer you hired and a contractor you hired separately.
How a Phoenix Remodel Actually Goes
- We walk the property and measure. Michael comes out, looks at what's there, and talks through what you want changed. This is the free quote visit.
- We draft it in AutoCAD. Real dimensioned plans — not a sketch on a notepad — so the numbers hold up when the walls come down.
- You see the 3D renderings. Before anyone orders cabinets or cuts tile, you look at the finished room and say yes or ask for changes. Changes on screen are free.
- We pull the permits. Phoenix permitting and inspections are handled as part of the project, not handed to you as homework.
- We build, and Michael manages it. One person is accountable for the schedule, the trades and the punch list.
On an older Phoenix house, step one and two are where the surprises surface — original plumbing runs, a load-bearing wall where the plans said there wasn't one, slab conditions under thirty-year-old tile. Finding that during measuring and drafting costs a conversation. Finding it mid-demo costs money.
We design and build custom kitchens from the ground up — cabinetry, countertops, layout.
