Refined Spaces Built Around Real Life
The living room is where daily life happens. It's where families gather, where guests get entertained, and where the overall feel of the house gets set. When that space is dated, awkwardly laid out, or just no longer matches how the household actually lives, it drags down everything around it. Most of the homeowners who call want the same handful of things: a room that feels larger, flows better, looks intentional, and can take real everyday use without looking tired in two years.
Every living room renovation starts with a design consultation and in-house AutoCAD and 3D planning, so the new layout, built-ins, flooring and finish selections are all confirmed before a single wall gets opened. You see the room before it's built. That's the point — decisions made on a screen cost nothing to change, and decisions made mid-framing cost a great deal.
What a Living Room Renovation Covers
Living room work demands a contractor who understands how structural changes, finish selections and design decisions interact, because getting one element wrong throws off the feel of the whole space. A single project may include any combination of the following, managed start to finish:
- Layout reconfiguration — opening up walls, reworking traffic paths, resizing openings
- Demolition and framing, including any required permitting
- Custom built-in cabinetry, shelving and media walls
- Fireplace surround construction and refacing
- Trim, casing and baseboard work
- Final painting and finish application

A background in construction management means the work is sequenced properly — framing before electrical, electrical before drywall, flooring at the right moment so it isn't walked on by six other trades. That's the difference between a room that reads as one deliberate design and one that reads as a series of separate jobs stacked on top of each other.
Every living room we renovate is built to reflect the way the client actually wants to live — not just what looked good in a catalog.
How the Project Runs, Step by Step
- We walk the property, measure the room and talk through how you use the space day to day.
- We draft the room in AutoCAD and develop the layout, built-in placement and finish plan.
- You see the 3D renderings and sign off on the layout, materials and finishes before anything is ordered.
- We pull any permits the scope requires and schedule the trades in sequence.
- Trim, paint and final finishes go on, and we walk the finished room with you.
